I first fell in love with Melissa & Doug toys teaching preschool. I appreciate their overall simplicity, construction, and longevity. Now our family loves Melissa & Doug toys. The majority of toys in our home are Melissa & Doug.
What’s great about this stacking train is that it appeals to the older infant as well as toddlers and younger preschoolers. This is one toy that both Joey (3 yrs) and Otto (10 mo) can play with and enjoy.

I’ve enjoyed Melissa and Doug toys since seeing them when I taught pre-school as well :). After visiting their site, I really would love to get my son the stacking construction vehicles…the wooden toys are great!

After visiting the Melissa & Doug website, it is hard to choose just one item. I really like the Noah’s Ark Shape Sorter, and also the stack & sort butterfly.
